How do I export pay run figures to my accounting system?

If you are using the Business Accountz accounts package, please see the separate question in our FAQ list.

Enter a pay run on The Payroll Site as normal. After you have clicked Confirm payments, click on the Export button. Within the Accounts System Configuration tab, you have the following options:

CSV
The figures can be exported as a CSV file which can be loaded into a spreadsheet and imported into some accounting systems.

Xero API
Xero is an online accounting system. If you have an account with Xero, you can transfer your payroll figures direct to their system, to save you from retyping them. For more information, please see the separate question in our FAQ list.

Sage 50 CSV / Old Sage 50
If you use Sage 50 Accounts 2010 or later, you can use the Sage 50 CSV option to transfer your figures into your accounting system. The Old Sage 50 option can be used with earlier versions of Sage 50. For more information, please see the separate question in our FAQ list.

KashFlow API
KashFlow is an online accounting system. If you have an account with KashFlow, you can send your payroll figures direct to their system, to save you from retyping them. For more information, please see the separate question in our FAQ list.
